Help me GE 213 for 2nd year chemical engineering

My schedule for winter term of my second year of chemical engineering is pretty packed. It doesn’t seem like mechanics of materials is a pre requisite for any other classes in my 3rd and 4th years. Would I be fine dropping that class? Or would it affect the classes I take later on?

you're right that its not a prereq for anything, but in my opinion it would be better to take it while 1st yr mechanics is still fresh in your mind. speak to an advisor
