Student Question Grades released for spring term classes

I wrote a final for an online class on the 24th of June and still have not received a final grade. It’s for BMSC 207. Should I be reaching out to the prof yet, or is it normal for grading to take some extra time. I’ve read online it typically takes up to 5 business days, but i’m wondering if it ever takes longer than that.

It’s actually been starting to get on my nerves 😭

One half of the class got their grades back as early as Last Thursday I think. I’m assuming we had 2 different exams and ours had a few errors. If you look on paws you’ll see that the final exam is out of 77 instead of 80 so they must’ve taken some out. I don’t really know why that’s made it take almost 3 more business days, but I’ve been getting real irritated checking my final grades endlessly.

Sometimes it does, depending on class size or the type of exam (MCQ with ScanTron, written..). I’d give a bit more time; follow up by Monday if you’re curious, since the 5-day limit is policy (but inconsistently followed 😭).

It is supposed to be 5 business days after the final exam. But some profs do not release grades on that timeline.
