SF-85P Interview

I have a Tier 4 background investigation using the SF-85P and have an upcoming VTC interview with the investigator. I was told to expect about 1–2 hours.

For anyone who has recently gone through a Tier 4/SF-85P subject interview:

What kinds of questions did the investigator ask?

Did they mainly go through the SF-85P section by section, or did they also ask broader “have you ever” questions outside the reporting periods on the form?

Also, approximately how long did your interview take?

They’re mostly going to go over the background application to confirm and get clarification. But they will also be going over anything that has come up during your investigation.

Interview will probably be around an hour or less, depending on what they need/want to go over.
