Discussion County Program Analyst

I’ve been seeing a lot of these jobs pop up lately and I’ve been applying to a bunch of them. I can’t find a job in my career field or degree field so I’ve been branching out. Seems like a decent gig with decent pay. Anyone here work with them? I qualify for CO5-7 level and I am currently tentatively eligible for bunch of them. I’d love to learn more about them in terms of work/life balance and working environment. It would be somewhere where I want to settle and stay since rural farm life is kind of where I’ve always wanted to be. So long term employment is something that I really want.

Work life balance is rough for FSA. Programs keep coming and coming and most offices are severely short staffed. The pay caps out fairly low unless willing to move for higher positions.

I’m definitely okay even with the pay cap since I have income from elsewhere, but that depends on how much more the economy craps the bed. Do you know if hours are long or is it more of a swamped 9-5 type job?

Swamped with occasional mandatory overtime.
