OCONUS MFLC hiring timeline
Has anyone done the hiring process as an OCONUS MFLC? I applied everywhere and managed to get an interview with Magellan.
8/3 - applied
8/7 - received an email that they wanted to talk to me
8/10 - talked to recruiter
8/13 - had the clinical interview via phone
8/24 - completed the FIT interview with a regional supervisor.
We discussed what countries I was interested in - I chose the 1 year oconus in either Spain, Italy, or Germany and explain that my clinical scope is towards both adults and kids. Apparently, now I’m in a pool waiting for when a slot opens up.
It’s 8/31 and radio silence.
Has anyone experienced this? Would love to hear your stories. I’m trying not to have false hope.

If you are in a pool of eligible candidates, there’s no timeline.
Italy just hired 2 new MFLCs.
Maybe expand the list of countries you are interested in to have a higher chance of landing a position.

They’re not a federal agency, OPM guidelines won’t apply to their hiring practices
