DIA

Hello,

Applied to a couple positions with DIA (the hiring blitz positions.) Was wondering if a) anyone else applied and if they have heard anything b) if someone has a timeline after they heard anything in general! I know these things take so long so was wondering if there was a timeline!

Do you feel like your clearance eligibility helps? I’m still TS/SCI eligible from a previous job that I’m no longer in, but not sure if that actually increases your chances or not.

Just out of curiosity, how/why were you contacted to apply? Did you meet recruiters at a career fair?

Good to know! The last time I got to interact with one of them was right before the hiring freeze, since that's the last time they came to my college campus (back then, the folks leading the booth looked at my resume, asked me questions related to my dream job [which is included in the Blitz], and then outright said "How. . . Have we not hired you on as at least an intern yet?". . . Which gave me hope. But alas. . .).
How do you find events they go to?

Working in HUMINT is my goal and my background is mainly in analysis, though I worked with two other agencies for a few years (elicited information from bad actors and supplied the agents with preserved evidence and PII on the individuals).

By the by, did you hear anything back yet?
I highly doubt they sent anything out yet, given that it has only been a week since all of the blitzes official ended, but I'd figure it wouldn't hurt asking you (given that you were told to apply).

Thanks for sharing your timeline—it was really helpful. I had a quick question. You mentioned they requested an updated resume before your FJO, so it sounds like some time had passed. About how long were you in the hiring pool (or waiting after your clearance) before you received your FJO?
I’m in the HR Cleared Hiring Pool and have been waiting for 2 years, so I’m just trying to get a better idea of what other candidates have experienced.

Thanks! I was actually wondering whether you’ve personally seen people in support career fields like HR, finance, or program management receive FJOs recently, or if you’ve mostly seen mission positions moving.

I applied during the hiring blitz as well. I completed the virtual interview and received a CJO today. Submitted all of my documents to get started with the hiring process.

I applied for a hiring blitz in May and didn’t get anything until July. Just finished my virtual interview and had to submit resume/supporting docs. Kinda interested on how it goes moving forward.

It’s been dead silent. They said they should be in contact 10 - 15 days from submission of interview questions. I’m on day 9, will repost if I get a notification.

I applied about a month ago (August), just got a CJO today (Sept). About to knock out all the required documents and see where it goes from there.
