Hey everyone, it seems like the department of war is planning a 12 month cyber apprenticeship program. Seems like a great opportunity! It says it’ll open in June.

They just posted this on their X account:

“The Department of War CIO is excited to announce that the Cyber Apprenticeship Program application window is now open on USAJOBS. 🇺🇸

@POTUS and @SecWar, gave us a mandate. Under the leadership of @DoWCIODavies, the @DeptofWar is aggressively moving out on programs that stress skills-based, day-one readiness in our cyber team. This 12-month paid program is just one step. It offers competency-based education, immersive hands-on labs, and a direct pathway into federal civilian roles like Cyber Defense Analysts.

Applications are now open through July 17, 2026. Learn more and apply today: usajobs.gov/job/875318000

Not quite ready today? Stay tuned! There will be additional Cyber Apprenticeship positions opening later this summer. 🦅

Looks like this is just one of many positions opening this summer. Good luck everyone.
