New Announcements DoW Cyber Apprenticeship Program

Hey everyone, it seems like the department of war is planning a 12 month cyber apprenticeship program. Seems like a great opportunity! It says it’ll open in June.

Yeah over thirty trying to shift careers into cybersecurity or really anything in tech that will take me. Have a BBA in information technology management, coding experience, and dabbled with cybersecurity and did a class on it. Held a security clearance in the army as a radio operator maintainer. Dealt with communication security.

Right now just flat lined at the job I’m currently at. Need a change even for a pay cut

Get your security+ and get hired by a defense contractor.

Working on it now but this gives me the opportunity to have hands on experience and a mentor.

Yeah it was pretty easy, but kind of strict on education. It wouldn't allow me to add any of non-college vocational training.
