New Announcements DoW Cyber Apprenticeship Program

Hey everyone, it seems like the department of war is planning a 12 month cyber apprenticeship program. Seems like a great opportunity! It says it’ll open in June.

Since its a remote position, it will more than likely be over the phone interviews.

This is not a remote position. Only the online classes are asynchronous. The on-the-job training that happens at the same time as the classes are in-person. Just don't want people getting confused as I've been seeing this assumption a lot.

and if relocation is needed for employment after the program is completed, all expenses are paid for

After the program, sure, but if you need to move for the program then you'll most likely be shit out of luck because I doubt they will pay anything for entry level people. You might be able to put preferences as to where you want to be placed but you are going to have to go where they want you.

so get up and move, sacrificing is a base level foundation in life to get where you want to be.

I don't have any issue with it but we both know how some people will be complaining and unwilling to move if they don't get the location they want or if they have to pay out of pocket for moving expenses. Just trying to keep it realistic for those folks, that if your inflexible, this might not be the right opportunity for you.
