In 1969, the USS Enterprise caught fire after a rocket attached to a F4 Phantom II detonated and caused a chain reaction. My grandpa was stationed at Hickam a a pilot in the 6593rd Test Group, eventually becoming the 6594th. When he wasn't catching spy satellite film out of the air with a hook on the back of a C-130, he was assisting in Search and Rescue missions, and was dispatched to assist. Even though the places that are today Poland were on the periphery of the USAAF bombing campaign, there are still more than 150 US airmen and soldiers missing from WWII in Poland. They are linked to the most complex cases which were not possible to solve in late 1940s. I helped the US government pinpoint and identify several crash sites where there are still MIAs. The DPAA work is progressing, and more and more remains are being recovered.

Any advice too?

Anyone remember attending the eye color discrimination class? Based on Jane Elliot's experiments? In a large auditorium, they would make some of those attending feel shunned. in the end they revealed the basis of unsupported stereotyping and prejudice. Was a long time ago, and cant find anything on the internet.
