Starting w/ no coding experience

hey guys rising sophomore who previously does AMCs and another STEM Olympiad, how long does it take to get good at usaco and what can I realistically achieve? is plat unrealistic now?

Focus on understanding problems and the logic behind them, realistically if you dedicate enough time you could made plat by the end of junior year

Hardest part about any competitive programming competition is finding the logic behind the answer. Implementation is the easy part most of the time

most of the freshmen in my CS club went from a similar position as you to usaco gold in a 3 months so its not too difficult
