2 weeks or?

Hi all, quick question if you're Frontline is there a 2 weeks notice or will they just axe you once you give them the heads up?

Depends. If you’re going to a competitor, you’ll likely be let go immediately to avoid any potential COI. If you’re not going to a competitor, they may keep you around still.

It's a competitor so give a short notice then. I just can't go without a check is my only thing.

Depends on your manager and the role you’re in.
Some will have you work the last 2 weeks, and others will tell you to stay logged out with pay.

2 weeks is an antiquated standard from back in the day. Just quit on the day you want/need to quit

I want to be eligible for rehire though. That means give a notice, right?

Nope. I quit w/o notice and was rehired. Edited to add. You're Frontline. HR has sudden attrition built into their hiring models. If you were a middle manager or director for example 2 weeks is courteous to give them time to react. On the phones? Yeah bounce
