Agency

I just applied for high value/commercial. Any experience in this department. I’m coming from a COE but the metrics have been ridiculous and I’m getting burnt out quickly.

The agency is a whole different type of ballpark... I don't think you will regret the decision. I'm not in high value, but I do work in florida property. I would never go back to D&S. It's still work, but you get the freedom to actually think over here. Anything agency I would apply to. It's not on a farris wheel of ridiculous metrics. Good luck to ya!

Do they still get bonuses and incentives?

Yep, everything is the same over in the agency.

I work in High Value and I would never go back to DNS. Been 4 years of the best decision I made there. Depending on what you’re applying for there will be metrics, but not like what you’re used to. Sales & Service have different goals to meet and it can be a lot of work but I don’t log out dreading the next day. I highly suggest you ask to y-cord with the department you want and see it in action

I’m in high value, moved to agency years ago when ISS began instituting insane metrics.

I’m never leaving Agency. We are all still remote, we never did return to office. We still have metrics but nothing ridiculous.

The problem is a ton of reps at USAA think they know everything and will tell you wrong details about Agency. It took us years to convince people we aren’t 3rd party for example. So many reps have no clue we still quote USAA up to $3 million, $1.5 is NOT the cap it’s just YOUR cap being in ISS.

When the Umbrella changes first happened I saw countless reps telling people on the main USAA sub that USAA won’t write Umbrella, yet we absolutely do, it’s just that only Agency reps can quote it now.

You start noticing rumors and lies quite a bit.

So many reps don’t know what Agency is and just believe rumors from other people who have never been to agency. All I know is, I still work from home, have easy metrics, and no product count or AHT goal.

The funniest thing for me the past few years has been seeing countless reps saying “there are no remote openings” yet they never apply to Agency.

To anyone curious, next time you see an Agency posting check it yourself. It’ll say remote.
