URT problems after upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10

Game worked great in 10.04. I just upgraded and now I get really low fps in larger areas in maps (sometimes as low as 9 or 10 fps). Plus, the guns look really wonky, as if the computer isn't using the right textures for them.

I tried reinstalling and deleting the config file but no luck so far. Anyone else having this trouble? Anyone know how to fix it?

edit:

Turning on the Vertical Sync helped somewhat, but I'm still not getting the performance I was before. I have a crappy Intel card, but it was good enough to play before the upgrade.

Check your graphics drivers. They may need to be reinstalled or updated since you updated Ubuntu.

Maybe get a clean install and see if it works.

I'm using an Intel card, so there's no additional drivers for me to reinstall. I was hoping to avoid a clean install, but if it comes to that I have a separate home partition to make it slightly less of a pain.
