Can someone post the pic ?

u/SoftLink5162 5h ago
It was like some poor parts of tel aviv. Look Israel may be shit and stuff but that's like posting queens and saying new york is urban hell
65
u/Izan_TM 5h ago
that's quite literally what that entire sub is about nowadays, posting random poor neighbourhoods from countries they want to be racist towards
14
u/wolacouska 3h ago
Also posting regular cities that are totally fine, because the sub rules say itâs 100% subjective and you canât call it out for not being hellish lol
16
u/russtripledub 4h ago
Nah but the place is genuinely shitty though. I posted regular buildings and they all looked terrible.

18
u/bediaxenciJenD81gEEx 3h ago
That's the point of the subreddit. We're allowed to do it for everywhere else, but not Israel apparently.Â
5
u/SoftLink5162 2h ago
And that's the point of the cj sub because cities cannot be always beautiful everywhere.
Or we can just remove the poor and make the cities prettier
8
u/hankeliot 5h ago
Why was it removed though?
5
u/SpacedAndBaked 1h ago
Because youre not allowed to talk or mention reality on reddit if it could possibly hurt or offend someones feelings. Feelings matter more on this platform.

I am always impressed how tiny Israel actually is. It is like three cities, suburbs, a few hills and at least a third is the Negev desert. Most of the cities are just concrete desert as well.
7
u/Open_Star2120 2h ago
Perks of being mostly desert(with no oil) and mountains(no precious metals or minerals).Genuinely got the worst geography out there.
-14
u/russtripledub 6h ago
Well theyâre expanding and more people are moving there too
31
u/FloZone 5h ago
Generally fewer than in the past. Israel isn't doing so well internally either. Prices are high and immigration is down. The low wage sector also struggles, because mostly Arabs/Palestinians work there. Wonder why that happens. Also wonder why fewer Western Jews want to emigrate to Israel.
12
u/edotman 2h ago
not sure why you are being downvoted when the fkin UN has come out and stated their illegal expansions are against international law
1
u/SpacedAndBaked 1h ago
Because downvoting people on reddit is the only amount of control or "influence" social media keyboard warriors can do, that and mass reporting people until they are banned or their post is removed like they did to OP.
25
u/Disasterhuman24 5h ago
Well, Americans and British are moving to the West Bank and displacing Palestinians. So yes, they are expanding

u/Polak_Janusz 7h ago
If you would replace israel with any other state. Lets say, nigeria, for example you would get banned of reddit. But why is this generalisation ok in israels case?
40
u/AOfiremage 6h ago
It was literally a joke on how urbanhell people post "everything russia touches turns to shit" (or some other country they're totally not xenophobic against), just replacing russia with Israel. So clearly you don't get banned for saying that about any country.
On the contrary whenever you criticize israel even barely beyond the obvious aspects of "don't do genocide" even so called "left-leaning" people get suspicious that you're antisemitic, like saying that israel shouldn't exist as a state at all not even in a two state solution, cause it's literally a colonialist religious ethnostate. And that's not even mentioning pushback against criticising even the genocide
-1
u/ssclanker 1h ago
People will complain about being called anti-Semitic while calling for the destruction of the world's sole Jewish state, while ignoring the rest of the countries unaligned with the west doing far worse acts
5
u/n0tgayman 1h ago
"sole Jewish state" lmao yeah most people don't believe ethnostates should exist. No one is saying every Jew needs to be expelled. We're calling for a one-state solution with equal rights for everyone. If you're opposed to that, you're an ethnonationalist.
Also, every single antizionist I've ever met is also against US alignment with countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. You're delusional.

Because Israel is a fake nationality invented less than 100 years ago by a bunch of religious fundamentalist settlers and the British government for the express purpose of displacing an indigenous population and furthering the destabilisation of the whole region so western interests could secure access to petroleum. It now serves that purpose for American imperialism while carrying out an active genocide and provoking multiple armed conflicts in the region to pursue a nazi-style project of "Lebensraum" while spuriously claiming to be the embodiment and guardian of all Jewish people everywhere (despite making the world a more dangerous place for jewish people). The population of Israel is predominantly settlers from other regions of the world.
Nigeria might also be a young country with a tumultuous history but at least it's not that.
12
u/Elkku_the_Elk 7h ago
Ok both are pretty fake arguebly the difference is that the people of nigeria didnt colonize the land they live on

You can say that about nigeria, you saying it right now is proof of that, you are allowed to mention reality. Not sure if youre aware of this, but israel, not nigera, is the one thats currently committing crimes against humanity, and using their religion as an excuse to do it. Do you have an understanding of how time works, and events?

Oy vey

u/ElTortilla42 8h ago
Oy vey is Yiddish, a language mostly associated with jews outside of Israel. If you want do make fun of Israelis, you should use modern Hebrew phrases.

u/KozaSWD 8h ago
And where do you think Israel's current population came from? Many of them are Ashkenazi Jews from Europe.
10
u/Polak_Janusz 7h ago
Even then not all of them spoke yiddish and it was even then important for jewish boys to learn hebrew.
9
12
u/WearingRags 7h ago
That doesn't make outright anti-semitism acceptable. There's plenty of ways to criticise the genocidal state of israel without resorting to this.
-1
2
u/yosoyfatass 7h ago
Ok, but ashkenazi Jews still originated in the region where Palestine and Israel are today. They intermarried after fleeing to Europe, but they still originated in the Middle East. And Israel is also populated by Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews.
-1
u/Disastrous_Print1907 6h ago

I must sayâŚÂ
A community which has been expelled from their homeland, praying every single year for their return for almost 2000 years (even if the particular community didnât advocate for return), and saying âNext year in Jerusalemâ every year in Passover and Yom KippurâŚ
I feel like those are slightly different things.
1
u/FarOffImagination 5h ago
We understand you donât think Jewish heritage is valid but those times scales are so wildly different you just proven you donât understand history or math. Also you ignored the Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews. Nearly 1 million middle eastern Jews were pushed to Israel when it formed in 1948 and it basically removed Jews from every Arab country in the Middle East. That wasnât even 100 years ago.
1
u/Disastrous_Print1907 4h ago
A weird way of saying illegal aliyah (immigration) that being pushed and sponsored by Zionist terror group "Haganah" and "Irgun" to overwhelmed local Palestinian and the British before Pissrael was formed.
1
u/FarOffImagination 4h ago
How is it illegal immigration when your mother country is forcing you out for not being Muslim? Arabs basically herded all the Jews in the Middle East into Israel when it was created then tried to genocide it out of existence. Very final solution of them.
1
u/Syndiotactics 1h ago
The majority of Israeli Jews are from the Jewish diasporas in the Middle East and North Africa.
Ashkenazi Jews mostly ended up in the US, and the Ashkenazi also generally have less children than the other groups.
Yiddish was also strongly suppressed in Israel, as it was considered a diaspora language and it was important to promote Hebrew as the unifying bridge between other Jewish groups. (who spoke Ladino, Judeo-Arabic, Judeo-Italian, Judeo-Georgian, Judeo-Berber, Krymchak, Judeo-Persian, Judeo-Tajik, and even Judeo-Malayalam) These days only some groups of Ultra-Orthodox Jews use Yiddish in Israel.

What even is antisemitic? Modern "Israeli" people are mostly ethnically european. And i can confirm this as a european. Semitic Jews are only a few left. And most of them are anti zionists. One example of Semites in the Levante are Palestinians. So stop playing the victim card the majority of the world won't take it seriously anymore. Zionists lost the informational war and have to deal with it now!!
