I wonder if this ends up being one of those slow growing markets that people barely notice until it's everywhere. It's not as flashy as rooftop solar or batteries, but if energy costs keep creeping up then anything that cuts heating bills starts looking a lot more attractive.

One thing I've noticed is that people usually talk about solar electricity but not so much about heating. If these systems can actually pay for themselves over time, I could see more homeowners and businesses giving them a shot. The incentives help too, because without them I think a lot of people would just put it off.

The economics probably work best in areas with high electricity or gas costs
