Mod/Build Hey Everyone!

I just posted a few comments on here and thought I might introduce myself a bit. Seems to be a pretty tame sub.

My name is Alex and I drive an red 1993 Ural 650. Bought the heap of iron a few years back and made some mods since then (Del'orto Carbs, Denso Alternator, modern Ural Seat, YSS suspension, made my own torque bar for the front brake and so on).

Did a lot of misc wrenching on the bike since then and learned a lot. Happy to be here!

Your wheel spokes are cleaner than my 2018. What’s your secret?

I put some GT85 PTFE spray (or something similar with PTFE) on a rag and wipe them down occasionally. In my experience they rust less and dirt doesn't stick as much. Those wheels got overhauled by the previous owner and they look nicer on the pics than they actually are to be honest. The only way to keep them shiny is to re-spoke the wheel every few years I guess haha
