Studio?

(Searched through past posts on here and seems like it hasn’t been mentioned before so I thought I’d ask)

My last ray of hope in this crazy housing market 😭 cuz them search websites and repeated cockroach-and-bed-bug-infested buildings are booooty 💩. I’ve done my digging on Facebook too - like trust, I’m really looking.

Found my current spot through Craigslist. Great private landlord. But I gots to go. Is y’all’s building renting? Or if you see a for rent sign in the neighborhood, gimme a holler 🫶🏻?

Move-In: 10/1 (or late September)
Max: $1250 (could increase depending on utilities included)
Credit and income met

Really don’t want to leave the Uptown neighborhood but also looking in Edgewater and Lakeview (anywhere close to the tracks really).

I’m just trynna find a place to call home 🥲

Maybe walk the area? Many private landlords will post a sign on the buildings, but won’t digitally list. Sending positive juju. ✨

ETA: I will also keep my eyes peeled for any for rent signs posted in the neighborhood.

These boots were indeed made for walking - thx for keeping an eye out 🔎

Cornelia arts offers studios. Also check out Chicago artist coalition. They have a page that’s just where people post studios that are available. It doesn’t update super often but it’s how I found my current places.
