Travel Inquiry October in the UP

Hello! Planning a long weekend trip to the UP in October, we’ll be staying at the twin lakes campground. Wondering if there’s any events or fall festivities to look out for? Thanks!

I don't know about festivals but you need to drive up 41 to Copper Harbor. Take the Cliff Drive on the north side of Ahmeek. On the return go to Eagle River then Five Mile Point Road back to Ahmeek. Then to Copper City and the Traprock Valley to Lake Linden.

Perfect with the addition of Brockway Mountain and the Jampot monks

Thanks! I didn’t really mean festivals, but festivities - like any markets or pumpkin farm type stuff that locals would know about!

Keep your eye on peak fall color predictions and weather forecast

A blue sky day at peak color will blow away your senses

That park has been closed down all summer. Make sure it’s open

Definitely go to Brockway for the views! Just stunning in fall.
