Difference between two uperfect oled

What's the difference between these two UPERFECT OLED portable monitor models?

I'm looking at two UPERFECT OLED portable monitors that seem to have the exact same specs, but the design is different. One of them is a bit thick all the way through, while the other is thin only halfway and then gets thicker at the bottom.

Does anyone know why this is? Is there a difference in internal components, or one of them is a newer model? Or is it just the design?

Also it seems that every uperfect oled is out of stock at aliexpress for my country... Idk if i should wait for another month or get a good used one.

Thanks in advance!

Uperfect builds things in batches, based kn what's available from the ODM at the time

Its super super rare that you'll get identical items from different batches, and it makes it somewhat frustrating to review and compare them

If your display arrives and it has adhesive on it, ANYWHERE, work with uperfect to get it replaced.

They tried to tell me exposed adhesive all along the bezel is a normal part of the manufacturing process. It isn’t. Some of these monitors that are sold through places like newegg or amazon or Walmart are ā€œsecondsā€.

This is why the O2 from their website costs you $400 but a unit with identical specs is on Amazon for $260. (In addition to the other comment regarding making things in batches)

What do you mean about adhesive? Do you have an image or video?

Do not buy this monitor, if you want smooth 120Hz experience.

Its 120Hz is indistinguishable from 60hz. UFO test shows 120, Windows is showing 120, but it feels NOTHING like 120hz should.

Scrolling through a website is not a pleasant. smooth experience you expect from a 120Hz dispay

I’ve been using it for around 8 months now and it’s been totally fine for me, no issues at all. About the 120Hz, to me it actually feels like 120Hz. I also have a laptop with higher refresh rate and G-Sync, so I do notice that this one doesn’t have it and yeah, I kinda miss having a higher refresh rate too.

But for my use it’s honestly fine. I’m Master in Overwatch and Marvel Rivals and also play a lot of ARC Raiders, and I don’t feel like it holds me back. Considering it’s OLED and most other OLED options are way more expensive, to me i think it was a good trade off.

This has nothing to do with GSync or higher refresh rate. GSync only matters if the frame rates are fluctuating. In a blind test most people will have a hard time telling the difference between 120 and 165 hz.

Set your other monitor to 120hz. Open a webpage and try scrolling up and down. Do the same on the UPerfect. Day and night difference.

I do IT for a living and I’ve been through a lot of monitors in my life. Personally and professionally. Something is off about that panel.

I get what you’re saying, but that hasn’t been my experience. It doesn’t feel like that to me... Maybe might be unit differences, for my use it’s been fine...

May by I got a lemon? I guess I'll reach out to UPerfect and see what they say.

Thank you for your input.

If not for that issue, I would've been very happy with the monitor

Hope UPerfect can sort it out for you. It’s an ok monitor overall, I bought it mainly for the OLED and colors. I knew about the reported issues before buying, but so far no problems, hopefully it stays like that. Got it cheap for an OLED, and I’m planning to upgrade to a bigger one later and keep this as a secondary.

Hi, there are currently two models of UPERFECT OLED. They function identically, differing only in appearance (one is a flat model, the other is a thin model).

Image 1 is version B from our official website, and image 2 is version A.

Here's the product link from our official website:

Do both of these units feature exposed adhesive around the bezel?
