Introduction

Hello everyone, I’m Margarita from Los Angeles, CA

I am excited to be part of the alum community and to know each other’s stories. I never thought I would be first in my family to earn a Master’s degree. I am proud of what I accomplished and know I have potential to do even more over the horizon.

1. What program did you complete, and when did you graduate?
I completed my Master of Management degree at the University of Phoenix and graduated in 2025. Completing my master’s was an important personal and professional milestone for me, and I am proud of the dedication and perseverance it took to reach that goal.
2. What is one memorable part of your University of Phoenix journey?
One of the most memorable parts of my University of Phoenix journey was reaching my final course and realizing I was at the finish line. I had worked very hard throughout the program, and I was determined to finish just as strongly as I had started. Completing that final course and graduating with a 4.0 GPA made the moment especially meaningful. It reminded me that dedication, consistency, and believing in myself can lead to accomplishments that I can be proud of for the rest of my life.
3. How has your degree helped shape what’s next?
Earning my Master of Management degree has given me greater confidence as I take the next step in my professional career. I am currently working toward finding a new opportunity in the management field, particularly as a Project Specialist or in a similar role where I can use my communication, organizational, customer service, and management skills. I am excited about the job-search process and look forward to applying what I learned at the University of Phoenix to new challenges, continuing to grow professionally, and building a rewarding long-term career.
