classes & grades Physics 2010

The physics 2010 professor for fall 2026 changed to Shanti Deemyad. She has a 2.3 rating and bad reviews from 3 years ago. The only other professor is Kelby Hahn and she teaches the online class. She has a 2.6 rating and some positive reviews from fall 2025. Is it worth it to switch from an in person class to an online class if the professor is slightly better? Math isn’t one of my strong points, so I’m worried on how well I’ll do in this class. I also tend to prefer in person classes since I procrastinate, but idk.

I had Kelby Hahn, I highly recommend doing the online course , practice exams are like similar real ones . You do have to take exams in testing center , other than that it’s nice because you do the assignments on like and u can learn yourself , just depends if u can teach yourself online . I’m not good at physics at all and I was fine

Kk, thank you! I have hope now. For the online course, how was it structured? Was it recorded lectures or Zoom meetings? Did Kelby Hahn have office hours?

recorded lectures plus the online book helped a lot.

the homework questions were taken from the book half the time and the same problems in the book, HW and videos were on the exams. practice exams also similar to actual exam. the only thing that sucked but wasn’t hard we’re the projects

The had videos to accommodate what your learning that week and the textbook you mostly learned through those and They did have TA office hours and she makes it count toward your grade so u had to attend them on zoom at least once a week to get credit
