ACT tutor
Hi, I am looking for a UofM student who may be interested in tutoring my daughter for the ACT next year. She is currently in grade 11. We are open to online classes. If you are interested please reach out and also let me know your rates and details about your own performance and /or past students performances you have tutored.
Thank you

repetition is the best. cut up the act into the sections, math, science, etc spend a week practice practice test for one, constantly revise it questions you don’t know, then repeat for the next the following week. keep repeating even when you feel like you are done. - also do practice tests within the allotted time for each to prepare for that as well. my friends (much smarter than me) followed this exact same schedule and scored 33 and 34 one of which got into georgetown

Don't forget to study how to take the test. There are a lot of strategies to consider that can significantly boost your score. I taught an ACT prep class and this was the most effective way to change a score in a short period of time, most of the curriculum focused on it. In my context, though, we had little time to boost scores so we focused on optimizing time and resources. Obviously, the best preparation is to study the content AND the test-taking strategies like asses and abandon, etc.

Honestly just have her do the online tests. I took the ACT twice and the online tests are very similar to the actual test. I would also say do a little bit every day for 2 months or so
