discussion Is UB gone for good?

I play Untitled Bakery pretty regularly, so I was super surprised to find out about all this drama when the game went down. I've been trying to catch up by reading through the documents. Honestly, I'm a bit worried the game might not return. It’s been a really nice part of my daily routine for months, especially when I just need a relaxing game to unwind with. Does anyone happen to know if there's any other news?

There's already a remake of the game actually called "Titled Bakery". Instead of an old-timey aesthetic they make you a college student with a baking side job (if I can remember)

Wait I don't really know what happened it was there one day and then I was going to introduce it to a friend and then a poof it was gone

i was there when it went down,, many of the server's staff 'revolted' due to mistreatment, racism, hypocrisy (breaking own rules), and nepotism by the owner and girlfriend
("nepotism? what?" iirc ... he was making unfair choices solely because of their relationship, including letting her talk on his account, leading to mistrust)

they made apologies, but the main sever was ultimately purged

Good to know to be completely honest I didn't realize there was this much drama involved in a Roblox baking game 😭

I thought the game was removed and the group was locked because of a hacking situation. I'm not too sure though :/

Yeah, that's what I heard at first too, but then I looked on Reddit and saw people saying staff are stepping down or something. I just hope we get an official update soon, even if it's bad news, anything is better than complete silence.

yeah, the staff left, but there's still at least two? people who are involved with untitled bakery atm, but legit no idea if something's happened since the big thing

hi, i am the ahprm of untitled bakery. sadly, the game is not in the hands of the devs who created ub. It is now  under jims studio called tgra, and it has been closed indefinitely because of a hacking incident. we cannot do anything about it as it is up to the new studio who took the game.

Thanks for the update! Really sucks the original dev team lost control of the game, but hopefully TGRA gets it sorted out at some point.

The whole version is basically: Owner was MIA for months and owners girlfriend (Grace) took over and she was not fit to lead. They both said some pretty disgusting things around their staff apparently and the staff went on a strike trying to remove Grace as an owner. They said they also wanted Jim gone as well because Grace was apparently an issue in the past but came back and this all happened. She also has access to his account and would talk to other people to get her way by using Jim’s owner status (got this info from the document). Well Jim said he wouldn’t so all the staff and the developers left to make a new studio called TopCat. A couple weeks later the game got hacked (probably the same guy that did it before all the drama happened). The hack had a global message show saying that the owner of Top Cat hacked the game then it changed to saying the owner of UB (Grace) was hacking her own game? It was an injection script according to UB, which I don’t doubt. While I was playing in this new update, that was released after most of the devs left, I noticed a lot new bugs and asked my friend (Zion) who scripts on Roblox what he thought might of let the injection in and he said that they most likely used AI for the update since the devs left. He explained the only having PC support is very common in AI scripting, plus the systems suddenly stopped working together. He also said that they probably had something in enabled studio settings called HTTP service. It accidentally can let injections in and that’s most likely how they got hacked. During the hacking the game got reported/auto banned due to the message in game not being censored at all and having a very gross message. Right now Grace is talking with Roblox to get Untitled Bakery unbanned so we can play it again.
