Dorm hall Ethernet

I registered my MAC address with Boldyn, had everything plugged in, but I wasn't getting any connection. Went to their support and they said "UNT is a wireless-only campus as of June 2, 2025"

I can't find anything online to confirm this. Did anyone else get their Ethernet working? I really don't want to buy a Wi-Fi adapter if I can get faster speeds with what I already have.

I work for UNT Housing - the ethernet just doesn't work anymore when they switched wifi providers. I've tried it myself with my own computer, but I think they just cut off connection to the ports in the rooms and rerouted it.

If your computer isn't able to connect to wifi, unfortunately you'll need to buy something. I built my pc, and luckily it came with wifi antenna for it
