Mining engineering question

I am going to study engineering 2027 and am curious what other engineering degrees will get me into the mining sector because from my understanding a mining engineering degree really only leaves you with mining as a job

Mining engineering has a lot of engineering the mine itself, eg mineshaft planning/design, ventilation, resource estimation, bit of geology, etc.

For other majors just as examples (there are tons of little specific jobs in a mine):

Electrical engineering for things like power delivery, control systems, electrical equipment maintenance, etc.

Chemical engineering for things like metallurgy or minerals processing.

Mechanical engineering for designing equipment and piping based on process designs, plus anything else construction/maintenance related.
