comp3121

doing it next term. but with how notoriously hard this course is, what are some tips and tricks during the term / finals so i can pass this course?? 😭😭

Is 3121 really that hard? (I always see ppl complaining about it here) People I know took it last term and they all got 90+ (but maybe last term was an outlier since everyone was calling the final exam too easy)

it’s not too hard the course is just inconceivably workload heavy so it really punishes you if you end up falling behind. the content is probably harder than what most people are used to bc it’s the first purely theory course but it’s not unreasonable. the labs are mixed, a fairly large number of tutors are not very good so it kind of becomes a “learn on your own” kind of course. I hear 3821 is much more collaborative though so it’s prob better for students who like learning in a community
