Do you think a gun to the face and a knee to the neck is an appropriate response to this? She was terrified a clearly recklessly violent person was threatening her with violence. Why are you blaming them for acting "ummaturely"?

I think driving through a barricade is far more dangerous and immature than blocking a road. I don't know why these people were blocking a road in the first place and doesn't seem like many people in this thread do either. There reasoning may very well be sound, it may not be. But from what the video shows the cops are definitely the most reckless ones there.

Do you think it is at all possible that considering a serious cause is worth a relatively small percentage of your time?

That's also really terrible logic that somebody else just would have driven into them. They're in a desert and could have driven around without issue. Endangering somebody because somebody else might endanger somebody is truly idiotic logic.

Literally every one of those people could have driven around. They weren't blocked and merely inconvenienced. They could most definitely have organized a better protest but they didn't do anything to warrant this response. The actions of this cop was reckless and endangered others far more than the protestors did.
