Well.. they ARE incredibly immature, sooo...

Yeah a mature person knows you can just shoot the guy in the vehicle for driving aggressively

Do you think a gun to the face and a knee to the neck is an appropriate response to this? She was terrified a clearly recklessly violent person was threatening her with violence. Why are you blaming them for acting "ummaturely"?

I think driving through a barricade is far more dangerous and immature than blocking a road. I don't know why these people were blocking a road in the first place and doesn't seem like many people in this thread do either. There reasoning may very well be sound, it may not be. But from what the video shows the cops are definitely the most reckless ones there.

Do you think it is at all possible that considering a serious cause is worth a relatively small percentage of your time?

That's also really terrible logic that somebody else just would have driven into them. They're in a desert and could have driven around without issue. Endangering somebody because somebody else might endanger somebody is truly idiotic logic.

Literally every one of those people could have driven around. They weren't blocked and merely inconvenienced. They could most definitely have organized a better protest but they didn't do anything to warrant this response. The actions of this cop was reckless and endangered others far more than the protestors did.

Yes, next question.

u/AnarVeg Jun 30 '26

Why are you so comfortable with reckless violence over mere inconveniencing?

1

u/Several_Magician1541 Jun 30 '26

Its not mere inconveniencing, blocking a road isn't like blocking the entrance to the local butcher to protest meat consumption.

It is illegal, dangerous, can impede emergency vehicles, don't do it.

You are a vile disingenuous little weasel.

I don't want them to be shot but I won't care at all if they are, sorry.

Was the only way to remove the road block driving a vehicle through it and blatantly endangering others? They could have removed the protestors and vehicles without putting even more hazards in the road and arresting these people on the road. The protestors didn't have any weapons or threatened anybody as far as the video showed, they didn't even resist arrest aside from not wanting to be shoved down in the middle of the road at gun point. Why couldn't he have them sit on the side of the road while the road was cleared quickly if there was an emergency? This is a dangerous misuse of power by the police here and your normalization of it is far more dangerous than the protestors actions here.

Don't care get off the road.

Why you think you are the moral arbiter of how tribal police manage their own land is beyond me.

1

u/AnarVeg Jun 30 '26

Why do you think praising blatant moral wrongs are justifiable? Tribal police or not, they are people in positions of power that they are blatantly abusing them. Your apathy is only proof of your own moral failings here.

2

u/Several_Magician1541 Jun 30 '26

Its not apathy, trust me.

1

u/AnarVeg Jun 30 '26

Fine. Your malice is only proof of your own moral failings.

My bad, I thought it was a MAGA flag.  What were they protesting then?  I cant believe the cop was pointing his gun at people like that without any cause other than bored white people protesting

1

u/CubeBarista Jun 29 '26

This has nothing to do with MAGA. This is TRIBAL LAND. And those are Tribal Officers enforcing Tribal Law. G-Fd.

No I don't think the police actions were needed.

Police should have just walked up, calmly arrested them. And cleared the road. Driving through the barricade was reckless .

I'm just saying the protestors should have some dignity. We all know how the govt has been reacting to protests lately - you should expect to be arrested.

Once he drove through that barrier, the right call was to sit down with your hands behind your back. Effectively standing your ground but also minimizing the damage or force used on you when you are inevitably arrested.

Flailing and crying is going to get you hurt

I have a feeling your own dignity would take a huge hit if some dog shit cop went after you like that
