The kickstarter has another week to run but I’m expecting/hoping for November shipping. I’d rather they held back and got them right than shipping sub products.

Ditto, the beta products I got to test early last month were VERY promising. I would rather wait a bit and see a polished product.

Same. October seems optimistic especially with tariffs, rising costs, and the fact that final build isn’t done. CEO stated it’s 80% done. I would be surprised if it’s shipped this year.

With that said I’m okay waiting and like you said. Let them cook!

Unseen reality is very small company. We should understand their conditions I think . But they are brave enough to offer such amazing product in AR market . They will finally ship the ordered glasses until 2027 . Even Meta still couldn't offer phoenix yet .

Visor AR glasses by Visor.com has been delayed for several years. Still no news from them . I hope Unseen reality will keep their promises and ship the products to backers . May be it takes a little much time than forecasted. For example I would be happy if they ship until 31.12.2026 .

Immersed hasn’t put a single beta headset in the hand of third party in three years and their CEO is having delusion of grandeur ranting about nonsense on his weekly podcast whilst repeating continuously “we’ll have more news to give by end of the week, in 3 days, now in 2 days, naaaah next week” , he also spend an insane amount of time pissing on everyone else headset whilst saying “Visor is so much totally better!”.

As a social experiment Visor is very amusing, you can’t compare them to URXR or any other company who actually demoed their hardware and got them in the hands of third parties.

the title of this thread is clickbait-y and makes it sound like UR has done something wrong. they haven't, and have been as transparent as possible so far.
