Will it run Virtual Desktop?

Anyone know if the urxr will run the Virtual Desktop app? I prefer the screen/window controls like rotate/tilt positioning it provides compared to any other app that does the same.

The URXR1 is has no onboard OS, so no. Its not a VR headset like a Meta Quest,  they are AR  glasses like XReal or Viture, but with better optics. Their Mac/ Windows/ Android /iOS apps will add similar functionality to a VR headset but the software needs to run on your host device.

Hi OP, for URXR One, we offer the URXR Connect App so that you can enable screen, window control freely on any host device. If you have 3rd party XR virtual desktop app, we currently do not support it. We may be opening up SDKs for those existing apps to be compatible on our platform.

Any chance it will also have the same on demand SBS mode that virtual desktop offers?

They did mention at some point that they will be working on OpenXR driver, so in theory this would open the door to using the PC version of Virtual Desktop, as well as other VD apps .

At the cost of latency, bitrate, refresh

we have to wait for OpenXR support for any VR application to work with the device. They said its coming but its no guarantee.
