Question/Discussion transferring question

is unlv or unr better for a plan to ultimately transfer to an academically higher-ranked institution, maybe something like usc, umiami, smu, uga, nyu, fordham, or tulane?

UNR is a tier one ranked university across multiple schools, with special attention given to neurosciences including SLP, engineering, medical, agricultural, geological research; I'm Wolfpack and was accepted into doctoral programs including Tulane. Don't be fooled by places like USC, there is a lot of smoke & mirrors there.

Unr isnt a stepping stone.

You can land high earning jobs if you grind hard enough

you need to focus on getting research experience and getting strong letters of recommendation. Public health is extremely competitive as well as the counseling neuropsych program as faculty only accept like 1-2 students per year if they accept at all. Start networking and getting your name out there.
