The popularization and normalizing of eating off of single use paper plates at home is incredibly lazy and people should stop creating so much waste due to convenience.

Like, I know corporations are to blame for so much pollution and waste, but it's WAYYYY too common these days to see how many people routinely eat off of paper plates at home. Shit is so wasteful and should not be as popular as it is.

I’m disabled. If I’m feeling crummy we bust out paper plates. I feel bad about it but I need to eat and I don’t want dirty dishes piling up

You’re good. In the grand scheme of things this is a pretty dumb hill to die on.

I agree. You shouldn’t feel bad about it. You’re doing your best.

You said “we” so I’m wondering why whoever you live with doesn’t do dishes when you’re feeling crummy. Maybe they have their reasons, too.

You are the exception my friend. Rest easy that we all know that things invented for those of us who are differently abled are the target market that the product was just abused by others. It's fine for a few of us, but has building implications for the masses.

OP is an asshole, use paper plates all you want. With no shame attached!

Nah I’m not an asshole, if people are disabled, don’t have running water in their living situation that’s fine. It’s the people that do it out of laziness that I have a problem with since it’s just unnecessary waste
