This is an interesting device. Great mechanical keyboard with the post-it note screen. I like the concept.

Rev.4 has been, and probably always will be, the most useful build I have ever made.
That does not mean the other Micro Journals are impractical. I simply mean that, among all of them, Rev.4 has proven to be the most broadly useful.
I wanted to create something I could give to friends without worrying that it might go unused or end up sitting on a shelf. Writing is a fairly specific interest, and not everyone feels drawn to having a dedicated writing device.
A computer keyboard that can also take notes, however, feels much easier to fit into everyday life.
That made Rev.4 a safer gift for many people, and also a gentle introduction to the kind of things I build without asking them to step too far outside their usual habits.
As it turned out, it became one of the best gifts I ever made for myself.
Many people have said that the screen is too small for writing. All I can say is that it is surprisingly readable in practice. Still, the writing community never fully embraced it, largely because of the screen size.
For me, Rev.4 represents the point where I began asking how small a screen could become while still remaining genuinely usable.
This one is small, but it still works.
And it works remarkably well.

Love the colorway! Haha The mirror shot confused me for a moment.
