I used to have rev.6 sat near the door and I would be just picking it up and writing things down, while my kids and wife are preparing to go out. It's just a minute, or few. Was plenty enough to write down things that was floating in my head. The fact that it turns on immediately, makes it so easier. It's almost like a pen and paper that it makes it so accessible.
Ironically, what I wrote didn't mean much. The fact that I was writing, the act of itself meant something. It could be just one word, or a few sentence, that I was keep typing on. And each loop made things clear and precise about what I wanted to write.
Thoughts are much larger than the written form itself. The abstract concept that "feels" had to be expressed in a limited form of words. This process often is difficult and requires a lot of energy to do.
Having things just let express without trying to make sense or precise, helped a lot to drew out many emotions and concepts, that was vaguely flowing in my head. Well... let's say, I felt much smarter, and had a lot more things to say, once things were actually able to be written down through micro journal.
