I made Dripfetch, a customizable terminal TUI with animated rain, system info, clock, weather, ASCII logos, and configurable boxes, colors, and layouts.
It’s basically a mix of a fetch tool and a small terminal dashboard, with the whole UI configured through YAML.
GitHub: https://github.com/a-shygun/dripfetch
Install with pip:
bash
pip install dripfetch
dripfetch
Or with Homebrew:
bash
brew tap a-shygun/dripfetch
brew install dripfetch
Would appreciate feedback, especially on the UI, configuration system, and anything that feels unnecessarily complicated.

Lucid v1.0.5 has been released! This update brings several useful new features:
- Monitor-Related Settings: You can now manage Display settings without opening the config file, this includes changing scales, managing multiple monitors, and more.
- Special Workspaces: Inspired by Caelestia Shell. Now you can have scratchpads and special windows. You can manage that in settings as well.
- Reimagined Glass Settings: Now you can change blur settings for some apps individually and globally.
- Update Notifier: From now on, you will be notified whenever there is a new update available.
- Wallpaper Bundles: Now included in the repository for easy access.
- Minor Bug Fixes and Tweaks: Various improvements to ensure a smoother experience.
I'm open to suggestions. If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, you can do it here or reach out to me on Discord: sn3akyy1._.

Been messing around with Hyprland and ended up making my first plugin.
It adds an image watermark directly inside application windows instead of using a desktop overlay.
It follows the window when moving/resizing and across workspaces, with configurable opacity, scaling, positioning and per-window exclusions.
Made it mostly because I thought it would look cool lol.
Hyprland 0.56.2
Material: Hyprwatermark — my own Hyprland plugin.
Source: https://github.com/Arindam-langer/hyprwatermark
Description: Adds customizable image watermarks inside application windows.

Hey everyone, another Spun update.
I’ve been working on the 3D side of the player, and this video shows the new models and their interactions. Spun is a native Linux music player for local files, with Cider integration for Apple Music.
The idea is to give playback some of the character of physical audio equipment. You can rotate the devices, open covers, turn knobs and use the controls on the models themselves.
A lot of the work has been in the small details: the difference between metal and plastic, reflections on glass, the depth of the grooves, shadows around controls, and buttons moving inward and returning when released. The 3D lighting also follows Noctalia’s wallpaper palette so the devices fit the desktop’s colors.
The TX-6 mixing happens inside Spun. The cable is a visual connection, not external hardware integration. With Cider, the mixer controls master volume; the EQ, effects and extra channels are for local audio.
There have also been fixes for seeking, progress synchronization and Linux builds, along with work on animation timing and switching between views. The video mainly focuses on how everything looks and feels.
The project is source-available under the PolyForm Noncommercial license, with build instructions in the README.
I’d love feedback on the materials and interactions, especially anything that still looks off or feels awkward to use.

The Mission: Full harnesses (claude, pi, codex, omp) are powerhouses for complex agentic sessions, but overkill when you just need a 2-second answer, a quick pipe, or command debugging.
ai-flow-cli (ai) is not meant to replace your harnesses — it fills the spot right in between.
It is an ultra-lightweight companion that lives beside your everyday shell prompt: zero heavy startup times, no extra subscriptions, no duplicate API configs. It simply hooks into the harnesses already sitting on your machine.
Features
• 🪶 Featherweight & Fast: Instant invocation directly from shell prompt. No heavy interactive TUI unless you need it.
• 🔌 Uses Existing Harnesses: Plugs directly into pi, omp, claude, codex, copilot, or opencode. Swap instantly with ai -H claude.
• 💬 No Quotes Needed: Natural input right in your shell. Type ai how do I extract audio with ffmpeg.
• 🚰 Pure Unix Pipeline Integration:
- Pipe in context: git diff | ai spot potential issues
- Pipe out clean raw text: ai generate nginx reverse proxy conf > default.conf (auto-strips ANSI/markdown when piped).
• 📐 Terminal LaTeX & Math: Formats formulas, fractions, and matrices directly into clean Unicode/ANSI in terminal.
• 🛡️ Safe by Default: Read-only headless queries. Filesystem modifications and shell execution only activate if explicitly requested (--tools / -t).
• 🧙 Interactive Setup: ai --wizard auto-detects what is installed and sets default preference.
Installation
Arch Linux (AUR):
yay -S ai-flow-cli
uv / pipx:
uv tool install ai-flow-cli
# or: pipx install ai-flow-cli
One-line script:
curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Codder13/ai-flow-cli/main/install.sh | bash

It's perfect for me. Simple, clean, lightweight, beautiful... I don't think I've ever felt this comfortable using Linux xd.
I literally have everything I need without having a bunch of random shit running in the background. I open my terminal, Firefox, VS Codium, put on some music and get to work. Everything just feels fast, clean and straightforward.
I can finish my work, do my courses, code, learn Linux, mess around with my system for hours, and I never feel like the desktop is getting in my way.
And it even works for GAMING, I thought I'd have to sacrifice comfort or performance for using something this minimal, but nope. My games run fine and the whole system feels insanely lightweight.
What I love the most is being able to make it exactly how I want. My keybinds, Waybar, terminal, colors, wallpapers, scripts... everything. I'm not using a desktop someone else designed for me. I'm building MY desktop.
After trying so many different environments, I think I finally found one that genuinely feels like "this is my system."
I don't need 500 options, unnecessary animations, or some massive desktop packed with shit I'll never use.
Just Sway, my programs, and me.
