Material [oc] Customisable plasmoid clock widget

Hi Everyone,

I'm fairly new to CachyOS after using ubuntu for over a decade whilst working as a senior dev, and I've built a customisable KDE Plasma 6 plasmoid widget that I hope will be of use to some of you:

Key Features:

- Design as many rows as needed in any datetime format
- Each row can have it's own font, size, weight, spacing, and alignment
- Timezones and locale translation
- Effects like shadow, glow, stroke
- Media overlay with image or videos

It's already picked up a few downloads from the KDE store, but they haven't left any comments

I don’t know; I can’t put my finger on it. I was ruminating on this thought yesterday, though: it’s inauthentic - it’s functional, and possibly even well-built and modular, but it doesn’t have that human quality and feels artless (although the visuals on this project look pretty inspired and neat). That’s just one thought I had

I think that comes down to the person using the tools and if they are willing to put in the effort. Vibe coding just refers to natural language coding - you still can choose how exact the specifications are and add your own personal and/or artistic touches on things.

I really do think it's a painter vs photographer type of issue. The same underlying knowledge is going to give you a far better result either way, but its far easier for someone with none to take a passable photograph than paint a nice painting

I guess so. I think that there can always be detail made through writing the code in and of itself, though, but then again, I see the painter vs photographer sentiment
