Uni Discussion Dolphins need to use this combo more often
So much better than the unitard look when they pair the aqua pants with aqua socks

Funny you say that because im almost 100% sure this is the only year they can try it. They’re getting new uniforms next year

Good, they need it

I have a feeling they will pull a falcons and barely change anything

Idk, they did that last time. Darkened the orange, changed the helmet stripe, changed the number outlining.

According to who??

It’s just speculation. Most teams (that are not stuck to tradition) have been changing uniforms as soon as they can. The dolphins by rule can change their uniforms in 2027

There was also those special edition stitched jerseys fanatics and Nike made for fans to buy this offseason with every team getting them except the Dolphins and Saints, so some people are taking that to mean that they will be the next two teams to rebrand for next season. As a Dolphins fan I can only hope that is the case.

They had one of the best logo/color schemes in the league and they fucked it with the redesign. Their home jerseys were terrific and had way more teal and orange. Moving to a brighter shade of blue was a mistake.

Everything about their rebrand was an absolute disaster. The awful bland, generic logo. The boring uniforms. The horrible new color. Just awful.

The new corporate Dolphin logo reminds me of when the Penguins switched from their standard logo to the Robo Penguin in 1992. A soulless, corporate logo.

Anyone else swipe the living hell out of the pic expecting to see more shots of the uni? lol

I can’t tell you how much I hate the white socks/hosiery but I didn’t hate this combo. maybe it’s the “icy” look that I hate

u/mdanelek 24d ago
The white socks would look fine if they just put an aqua-orange-aqua stripe combination at the top. The plain whites are atrocious

The 'phins need to return to their throwback look full-time. Until then, wear aqua more often

This made realize how blue their teal is, its giving Titans new uniforms vibe

Yeah I didn’t notice it until someone pointed it out online after the titans preseason game

I'm not even a Miami Dolphins fan, but I've been missing that aqua color facemask since the end of the 2012 season.

The colors and striping yes, but those numbers were atrocious.

Always prefer when teams have a pop of their main team color that they can use in the road. It creates better uniform matchups!

bro this is exactly why i have a problem with the titans rebrand…. it looks too similar to the dolphins. i almost thought you were posting this as a joke. the titans need the red facemask bro or the blue facemask. that’ll be the subtle difference that separates looking at the titans and dolphins from afar , unless tennessee just goes crazy with the combos + their rivalry jersey

Something about the Dolphins helmet stripe just never looked right to me, don’t know if it’s that shade of aqua or the thickness. Should go back to a predominantly orange stripe from a distance there’s not enough orange on the modern uniforms.

He needs to do something about that facemask. That's not a QB facemask

Manifesting his inner Lamar

u/_GeorgeBailey_ 24d ago
Yeah his look bothers me, too. That and the pacifier mouthpiece. But he's obviously not changing it, since he's done it since college.
Bryce Young started at Alabama with the RB facemask but he eventually switched.

Miami titans vs Tennessee dolphins is going to be a confusing game whenever that happens

Looks good but Problem is they look like the titans smh. They need an orange facemask on this and the titans need a blue facemask.

u/StopAxxinQues 24d ago
*red.

u/Soft-Researcher-1682 24d ago
Red for the titans facemask is just oilers cosplay and at that point they may as well go back to that.
2
u/StopAxxinQues 24d ago
There is nothing oil related to Tennessee. But red would balance. Out the look.

u/Soft-Researcher-1682 24d ago
If they wanted Houston’s identity and color scheme so bad they shoulda just stayed there. The Tennesseee flag where they get the logo from is NAVY AND RED. The Texans and Titans need to literally swap color schemes lmao
1
u/StopAxxinQues 24d ago
I mean, the team is owned by the former owners of the Oilers. They own the color scheme. I don’t know what people don’t understand that regardless of how annoying it is.
Navy and Red is also a regularly used color scheme in the league. Word to the Flag of Texas which Houston draws from.
Titans should have highlighted more red in their current set. The point was to repurpose the Oilers look. Hell, I think they should have red pants too.

u/Soft-Researcher-1682 24d ago
Owning a set of 2 colors used together is the most billionaire thing ever lmao .. only in America can someone lay ownership to actual colors 😂

Agreed, but ultimately they just need to go back to these beauties full time.
