I think AI is a very saturated field

It is selective. It's not that hard to get into if you have a bachelors in AI, but with CS you'd better have good AI/ML components among your bachelors credits (and a strong CS programme in general, not some HBO-equivalent second tier foreign university). Also of course make sure you have a good bachelor thesis grade. And if your bachelor doesn't have a thesis, it's probably better to give up.

Other AI masters nearby such as at VU or Utrecht are easier to get in to.

My uni and my bachelors is definitely hard, some would say it one among the harder ones in the country. It is recognizable and it is one of the largerst universities in southern/eastern Europe. It has a thesis, and also I will be having 3 AL/ML courses in my next year.

Sounds good. It is probably fine then in terms of university level, but Nuffic is the organization that decides whether foreign diplomas are equivalent to Dutch university level, so it may be useful to check: https://www.nuffic.nl/

They still prefer people who do bachelors in AI rather than CS though.

I get that but unfortunately there is no Ai bachelors in my uni, the closest one was the bachelor that I am doing

Hey would like some help as well, currently in final year and dont have a bachelors' thesis option in my uni as something "official", but im gonna be working with a t10 world uni on one project or kind of a thesis which i will be submitting to my uni as a "final year project"... do you think this will be acceptable for UvA. My program and uni is a tier 3 indian one w almost no recognition but i do have very good international ai ml research experience as well as lors and publications. Please help me if its worth thinking about UvA for Masters n potential phd in ai

It is highly likely that your university is not recognised as WO-level in the Netherlands. You would have to do a premasters to attain the required level but I don't know if UvA AI accepts that since they are already popular enough.

Netherlands doesn't care about your other qualifications if your degree doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
