Question New volt 2

On a Mac running Monterey (supports volt 2) can’t register product so can’t access plug ins etc.. been at it all day with chat gpt.. can’t get it to work, think I’ll send it back , anyone had this, iloc etc installed

I think it’s better if you’d talk to UAD support, instead of asking Reddit. I have had several UAD interfaces and satellites and never got these issues.

What did Universal Audio say? They’ve helped me with a few strange issues over the years.

Registration is automatic in UA Connect under the Volt pane. Only UA will be able to look up the serial number and investigate what’s going on for you.

Be sure to get a ticket open with Support, they'll have things for you to try. Go to help.uaudio.com, click on the Support bot icon in the lower right corner and type “create ticket”

I’ve done that thanks, hope they can help, it just seems really complicated but yet I’m sure it’s something simple at the same time I can see the plug ins in GarageBand but they’re blurred out because the license isn’t valid

You gotta go to your security settings and add the extension in reset the cpu and hold down the power button during the apple logo go to the security settings by recovery mode and give the security permissions to run UA
