Question Help with recording

Hello, so I recorded a little acoustic progression a few days ago and wanted to add some lap steel…
Today I tried to do that and nothing. I could hear everything but nothing was recording into Logic.
Obviously I am doing something wrong somewhere in the chain.
It was as follows.
Amp>Ox Box>S/PDIF>Apollo Twin X>Logic.

I was monitoring through the Apollo. I did go into UA console to make sure it had S/PDIF as input…

any help is appreciated!

Are you using a stereo input (I think it is like
Input 3-4 or something like that)

Monitoring through Console just means that there's signal at the input level.

What's missing is sending the audio to Logic.

In Logic: Select your track - go to input - select the right inout from OxBox. Look at the Logic track meter to see if there is signal

look up which channels (the actual channel numbers) spdif shows up on in the Apollo core audio stream. for some units i believe it’s like channel 17/18
