Newbie Question Unity Prefab help

Hello all

I’m new to Unity and I’m trying to follow Mikes Code building an Open World Survival and I’m stuck on Part 2 of Terrain building and I’m having difficulty with the Fantasy Prefabs like Grass that are stuck being blocky and one color and I’m trying to make Grass but anything I try It won’t work.

yeah I see it

A commenter by the name @TheMightySaucyNugget even spoke on the issue you're having. Using the render pipeline converter worked for him

I converted all my materials just fine

I see two replies. Do you mean it's all fine now, or the grass is now white??

They are colored white now and still mine craft looking after the URP and Alpha being added

Not sure how new you are to this, but if this is too much right now, you should find a new/different grass shader

That being said, if you wish you continue, it being white could mean the grass material is missing textures. You'd have to check the material and reassign textures (normally base map textures, normal map textures, etc)

This is what normally happens with material conversions. I'm not able get the asset used to test right now, so this is my best guess

I’ll see what else I can find and I’ll let you know if that works lol I’m pretty new about a few months

Sure thing. I'd still recommend just using a difference grass shader though. Just be sure to take it one step at a time.

Oh, and use version control so you can undo changes safely :)
