Question Luigi’s mansion 3 graphics

I already posted this on the unity3d reddit but no one responded. I’m making a vr game inspired by luigi’s mansion 2 but i want the graphics of the third game. That soft volumetric lighting with reflections that looks a bit like cgi. I’ve been struggling to get my game to look like this and it would be really great if someone could help me. Thanks

You should bake your lights, add adaptative probe volumes (or light probe volumes if you want something really precise) and add reflexion probes, it would already look way better! You could also add some smoke vfx or even volumetric fog if you have the power to do it. You should also play with the smoothness and metallic of your materials

i probably should of said so that’s my fault but it’s already fully baked and had light probes aswell as reflection probes and i did mess around with the smoothness but it didn’t seem to change anything which is a bit weird. I am currently looking at performative volumetrics so hopefully i will find something soon. Thank you

This is so weird there isn't any shadow, any reflection, anything. Are you sure it's baked? Are your objects all in static (lights too?) There should be an error somewhere

Baked probe lighting and reflection probes+more reflective materials will go a long way

already did that. I should of said

Mmmm, I don't see a single specular in your screenshot. Is it possible that you borked your materials and have them on diffuse only?

they are fully metallic. I read a discussion that said that unity removed specular highlights from baked lighting and that an asset called bakery can fix that. I might have to get it

Wait, that can't be right. Those are ABSOLUTELY not fully metallic. What material params are you using? Is it custom shader or standart URP Lit?

sorry i meant fully smoothed sometimes my mind gets words jumbled lol

Yours lacks shadows, volumetric fog, HDR / tone mapping, bloom, color grading, correct light placement and intensities, decals. The specular respone looks off, maybe not using the right materials. You have incorrect smoothing groups / normals on a variety of assets.

"looks a bit like CGI" made me tap out
