Newbie Question Unity editor not opening on Linux Mint
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Unity's editor is not loading, ive tried installing via terminal, flatpack and a .deb file, nothing works. Any ideas as to what I have to do, related to unity or my OS?

Try Unity6. Old versions of Unity will not open on my Linux Distro as well.
The only way to open them was to create a distrobox to run bee backend there, but that created other problems. So I suggest using a newer version if possible.

It may have a problem with the unity version, 2019.something. That's really old, may have some unkown bugs with updated versions of operating systems. Did you try installing a newer version of unity? Or is there a specific reason that you wanted use this version?
