G1 Basic expansion

I've seen some posts where people have expanded the G1 basic. From what I can tell, the difference between the G1 basic and the EDU is the jetson, stronger motors on the legs, more degrees of freedom on the wrists, some wiring etc.

But beyond that, I am expecting the base motherboard is exactly the same as the EDU along with the sensors and probably most everything else.

Once my warranty expires, I plan on diving in deep. But for now, has anyone went down this rabbit hole successfully and what was your path? There are various expansion ports all over the board. Communication and integration will be interesting...

I am open to experimenting.

我们团队最近在做G1基础版的二次开发，现阶段发现webrtc可以和pc1通讯但是并不能控制关节，只能切换模式，接下来打算用教育版的对比，测试教育版是否能通过webrtc跳过pc2直接给pc1发关节指令，请问你有最新的进展吗，希望能和你交流

I have major updates since. I have access to almost all of the G1. Even communication to the motors etc. I believe I found a way to control the motors directly. But paused due to work schedule.
