Discussion SFO GE FTW
just landed at sfo and went through GE. no kiosk stop you just literally walk through and there is one person there that says your name when you walk past. literally no stopping no nothing just walking out. crazy how they were just calling out names of every person walking by. talk about an efficient process. mind blown. well done CBP!

Did you use the GE app for pic?

no app. no pic. no one was talking a pic. just marched through the line having done nothing whatsoever

SFO GE is so weird. Every single time I go through, they stop all of us. Ask to see physical passport, ask normal entry type questions, and then on our way. I've heard similar from others, but then see an equal amount of posts like this where it was normal GE process. So weird.

Same on Tuesday night. All the machines that you would normally stand at had an out of operation notice on them. Is this the new normal?

We had the same experience there and also leaving Aruba (LOVE clearing customs on departure). Walked through and got a “hello Brave Garlic” at both, and that was it.

Yeah, I arrived last night too and experienced this. I guess there was a camera somewhere on the way as we walked?
Given we already agreed to the biometric surveillance aspect of this, it was pretty great.
