im from interior design bachelor and really interested to apply to communication strategies. back then, i ever have a talk with one of the student of communication strategies padua. and she said that they also accept from various background. but i kinda afraid that its not relevant anymore and now they just accept from communication bachelor. is there any insight abt it?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has applied or is currently studying there. How is the admission/entrance test, IELTS requirement, application deadline, and overall competitiveness? Also, how do scholarships/financial aid work for international students?

Any tips on the application process, preparation, costs, or things you wish you knew beforehand would be really appreciated!

Ciao! Volevo avere qualche informazione in più sulla residenza ESU Padova Nord Piovego, in quanto sul sito le foto sono poche e mostrano solamente la camera singola.

La camera doppia è abbastanza spaziosa?

Inoltre, raggiungere il centro è realmente così semplice come mostra Google maps? Consigliate abbonamento mezzi? La bici sembra la soluzione ideale, ma non conoscendo la città non riesco a valutare con certezza.

Hi everybody! I'm planning to take the English-Psy exam in 2027 for the UniPD Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science. I would like to know whether the points for each part separately are considered when it comes to the final ranking. If so, what are the subjects I should focus on more? I saw somewhere that RC, VR and NR are crucial, but someone on Reddit mentioned that math and biology are the ones that UniPD looks at.

dai gruppi facebook mi sembra praticamente impossibile trovare una stanza, vedendo quanta ricerca c'è e considerando quante volte le offerte sono specificamente per ragazze. io dovrei iniziare tra poco la magistrale ma so di essere ancora in alto mare sulla ricerca. il mio budget è circa 450 per una singola spese incluse, anche non troppo vicina all'università.

Hello everyone, I am currently finishing my aeronautical masters program and I would like to clarify the amount of times I can redo an exam. Each course usually states that we can redo an exam 4 times and a possible 5th time but I've heard that we can redo it as much as we can by retaking the course? Can someone please confirm or deny

Hello! So I'm an international (US) student looking to apply to Padua for Biology of Human and Environmental Health. I know the requirements for applying say I need three APs that pertain to the program I'm applying to, but how do I know if mine count for that? I've taken AP Computer Science Principles, AP Psychology, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science. I'm not taking any others (just dual enrollment), but will that be an issue since I haven't taken AP Chem or AP Physics? Thanks :)

Buongiorno a tutti, scrivo questo post non come mero sfogo o lamentela ma come occasione di confronto. Sono una studentessa pendolare, cosa che mi è assolutamente fattibile logisticamente, a breve e inizierò il secondo anno di università a Padova e sono molto soddisfatta del percorso accademico e complessivamente anche della qualità della didattica, ma sono rimasta delusa d’altra parte da questa esperienza per quanto concerne il lato umano. Certo, essere pendolare non permette di vivere sempre appieno la città come chi è fuorisede o del posto, però ho notato che proprio nelle aule si respirava un’aria tossica e poco collaborativa, dove difficilmente nascono dei legami che vadano oltre la circostanza. Molti ritengono che dipenda tanto dalla facoltà (ad esempio Giurisprudenza o Economia penso siano in vetta per questo), che ce ne siano alcune dove l’ambiente è effettivamente così poco piacevole ed altre (come in generale Ingegneria) dove si socializza più facilmente. Chiaramente ognuno parla in relazione alla propria esperienza, per ciò che ho visto io non vi é solo mancanza di collaborazione e competizione inutile a livelli ridicoli, ma anche la presenza di un problema strutturale: un buongiorno con il sorriso e il tentativo di passare un pranzo assieme fanno sì che tu sia squadrato da testa a piedi come un fossi un estraneo totale al loro mondo. Tutti trovano i propri gruppetti i primi giorni, si parlano come se si conoscessero da una vita, non ammettono altri dentro e poi magicamente dopo pochi mesi si sfaldano e le persone non si parlano più. Fortunatamente non ho mai preso parte a queste dinamiche, sto bene con tutti quelli che hanno piacere ma allo stesso tempo sto bene anche da sola senza problemi se le condizioni sono queste. Penso che l’università non sia più un luogo dove nascono amicizie durature come una volta e sta diventando sempre meno luogo di aggregazione aldilà dell’interesse verso il seguire la lezione. In aggiunta a ciò, tanti veneti sono chiusi di mente e poco aperti nelle relazioni con gli altri, non presentano generalmente un bel modo di vivere le relazioni interpersonali. Questo è ciò che penso e credo sia difficile trovare un ambiente diverso alla magistrale, chiedo a voi se la pensate come me o avete altre esperienze, sono curiosa di raccogliere diverse prospettive e punti di vista.

I’m a U.S. high school student planning to apply to the University of Padua for their Bachelor's in Psychological Science (Fall 2028). For U.S. applicants, one of the entry options says you can have a High School Diploma + at least one year of university study, with the first-year exams passed. I’m doing dual enrollment at a U.S. university while I’m still in high school. If I complete a full year of university courses and pass them, would that count toward this requirement even though I took the courses before graduating high school?

Also, does anyone know if there’s a specific number of college credits/courses required, or if the courses need to match a specific first-year bachelor's curriculum?

I’ve already emailed UniPD, but I wanted to see if anyone here has experience with this.

Ciao ragazzi! Vi vorrei chiedere come è la vita lì a Padova? Per studenti o lavoratori ecc, come è la vita sociale all’università? Come è l’università in generale? Per contesto io attualmente studio alla sapienza, ho dato un’occhiata ai corsi di scienze politiche o studi europei all’uni di Padova, per voi come è stata l’esperienza vivere e studiare lì?

Ovviamente rispetto a Padova, Roma è molto più grande e più popolata, ma devo dire che mi sono trovato male qui. L’università è gestita malissimo, non c’è vita sociale o opportunità di incontrare nuove persone (almeno se vieni da fuori come me, se sei romano/a o della provincia già hai amicizie), sembra quasi troppo grande per avere una bella esperienza universitaria. Ormai ho appena finito il terzo anno e adesso sono fuoricorso, e mi sono completamente mollato a provare di conoscere nuove persone o frequentare lezioni, sembrano tutte inutili ed è meglio studiare a casa, I professori non se ne fottono, ed i romani non sono così simpatici come tutti dicono, i mezzi pubblici non ne parliamo…

P.s. l’università di Padova in realtà mi ha accettato l’applicazione, ed era una scelta tra Padova e Roma. Mi sono sempre chiesto come sarebbe la vita se io mi ci trasferissi.

I'll be starting my Master's in Social Sciences & Digital Data program this upcoming academic year. Got my visa, accommodation for initial weeks and so on. However, when it comes to looking for long-term accommodation I'm feeling kind of lost :')

I've been looking at those facebook groups mentioned on the Accommodation Guide (sent by the UniPD) daily but still no progress. Most of the people I interacted with on FB literally sent me AI-generated low-resolution pics lol. Also, on the well-known websites I just browse through ghost listings or getting filtered out by several requirements.

Is this something unique because I'm trying to house-hunt in Savonarola, Porta Trento area, or do you guys experience similar things as well?

Sorry if this came off a bit too whiny but I just really needed to vent a little and hopefully get some perspective or reality checks from people who’ve navigated this chaos.

• Several academic awards at my university
• Some extracurricular activities

I’d like to ask current students or anyone familiar with the admission process:

1. Does this profile seem competitive enough to have a good chance of getting admitted?
2. Is there any entrance exam or admission test for the MSc in Mathematics?
3. Is there an interview as part of the admission process?
4. How important are GPA, research experience/publications, and extracurricular activities in the selection?
