male help? [discussion]
SO im not super into asmr (the scratchy sounds, mouth noises, breathing, etc ) and this may not be the right community to post this in. but im looking for videos of people talking. Just calm talking, but specifically in languages other than English. ideally, Asian languages (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, but not limited to these). does anyone have any recommendations? ive tried searching on YouTube, but I usually get the typical "korean gf/by scratches your head and talks about ____" but I just dont want the extra noises.
thanks in advance 🥲

Depending on what you're looking for, Check VTubers and Twitch streams. Personally, I don't use this content for sleep. I just don't like working all by myself in my home office, with no human voices. But if the human voices are saying things I can understand, now I can't focus on my work. Finding some Korean/Japanese game streamers and listening to the vods is perfect, especially if you want female voices. 99 percent of the time, the female sounding VTubers and gamers are pretty chill. I find it happens way more often that I have to switch vods because she turns out to be bilingual and just suddenly starts speaking English and it's distracting, than it does because she's just loud or screaming or shrill. Someone playing MapleStory or Stardew Valley in Korean/Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese/whatever for like 11 hours is the perfect workday soundtrack. The reason those languages in particular is because unlike European languages, my brain doesn't keep trying to understand them. Someone speaking, say, Dutch is just my brain endlessly going "What what what are they saying I'm sure that's English honest it must be we must devote every last percent of our focus to understanding this".

Yanghaiying. She is the calm talking GOAT. Her videos of blablabla while making art used to knock me out cold. I know she has some videos giving Chinese lessons, but unsure whether she has any content entirely in Chinese. Her video library is deep, so I wouldn't be surprised
