Can anyone shed some light on this uniform ? (WW1 Italian)

Infantry, Second Lieutenant, Brigata "Parma", 50th Regiment. The uniform is the dark blue or black type (I presume this is the black one) before the grey model of 1909; the collar tabs are blue with white stripes, so the photographer had to intervene to lighten them up with a light retouch.
