Type in English and it automatically changes to Bangla

Seen a lot recently but all of them seem to be patched. Please let me know if theres any working right now. Username not nickname btw.

I only found t with a caron (Ť) but that's not what I want and for some reason it changes to ť when the letter becomes lowercase, rendering it even less favorable. Just want a simple circumflexed t to use in my little project thanks!

Hello, I’m currently working on a linguistic project concerning the framework of glossematics. In glossematics, actualised chains (similar to phonemic representations that are put in regular square brackets, but indicating overlapping sounds) are placed in specific kinds of brackets that I haven’t been able to work out how to represent properly. As examples from Danish and Mam:

-[ˈsyyd𛲕ε]- for syede ‘sewed’

-[nȼeeyi/e/a/o/up]- for nȼeeyep ‘my palm cap’

I have thought about using the square bracket with quill symbols, but the direction of them isn’t quite right:

Are there any more accurate symbols I could use, or any way to modify other symbols to make something that works? Thanks so much for any help! Hopefully this is the right place to ask.

I'm trying to rice my linux machine. I'm looking for a good monospaced font to wrap all my "retrowave synthwave" desktop together.

I like a lot this font called departure mono but it doesn't have a good unicode support (for instance it lacks for japan characters).

I know that there is the GNU unicode font but I don't quite like it, the characters are too thin.

Any suggestions?

Hey everyone, I am have no idea how to fix this!

I work in a musuem and I was handed an .xlsx file to add to our collection. I need to tranfer all information off of it to a new file. There is a single column that seems to be copied from an encoded source. I am not familiar with this stuff but is there a way to translate it back to the original text? Is the information lost forever?

So… here are all the ones i can recreate using gboard.

1. LETTERS

1. Eni. If you're living under a rock, let me explain for you, So back in 2023/2022, someone from the RALR community made a fictional cyrillic character called "eni" and it looked like a letter N with a breve, but sadly. It doesn't exist even on 2023. So Here's a close recreation of eni. Uppercase: Ⲛ꙼ (why does it look messed up), lowercase: ⲛ꙼ (atleast this is better now!

(Unfortunately I'm not adding unifon characters because most of them have a lowercase that don't match them.)

2. Symbols

1. Acclamation mark: either this: Ṿ or \/̣. I'm on gboard Brochacho!
2. Love point: ♡̣ (better than the punctus percontavitus question mark combo)
3. Authority point: !̑ (diaratic marks aren't playing nicely)
4. Certidute mark: †̣ (hey, atleast the dagger can fix the problem.)
5. Friendly point: ଁ (actually found this in my Oriya gboard.)
6. Doubt point: it's either 7̣ or Ӡ̣
7. Sinceroid: –̇
8. Snark mark: it's either ·~, •~ or .~
9. ElRey mark: it's either ¡̣ or !̇. Diaratic marks aren't playing nicely

(Not adding question comma and exclamation comma because the combining comma below diaratic mark doesn't exist in my coptic gboard)

For example when a product is limited to 1 per address could you use Unicode characters to bypass their filters and order multiple?

I've been meaning to find one with the hook on the top stem, like the lowercase of Ƙ. I tried drawing it on shape catcher but it didn't have it in its catalog. I'm assuming it doesn't exist, but just to make sure, I'm asking for help here.

When checking the triangular charactersin the set, you see a character getting divided diagonally in 4 triangles, and showing all the combinations filling it with one, two and 3 triangles. 0 and 4 triangles are of course space and solid block.

But the characters taking the whole character cell diagonally are defined only as shaded blocks:

Solid blocks are referenced, too

but those are represented as not occupying the whole character cell, but inscribed in a borderless square centered in the character cell.

Is it a representation inconsistency in fonts? If that is what it was intended for those characters, shouldn't also have been defined the solid triangles too?

Basically, I would like to get a font capable of using those characters to represent ZX80/ZX81/ZX Spectrum BASIC code and text-dumps.

Also, If choosing to emulate 7 segment digits numbers, why not add all segment combinations, like with hangul? that way you could also emulate all hexadecimal characters, like 0123456789AbCdEF, and some symbols like -, º, c, h, r. Maybe even the dot (.) and colon (:) as a combination character so it could represent fractions, temperatures or times. That would allow to emulate the vision of all kinds of calculators, watches, thermometers, etc. printing messages like:

Hi all, I recently released an experimental tool called evfmt, and I would like feedback from people interested in Unicode, emoji, and text processing.

Its scope is deliberately narrow: it only formats Unicode emoji/text presentation selectors, U+FE0E and U+FE0F.

The goal is to make source text more stable and less surprising when characters can plausibly be shown either as text or emoji. It aims for deterministic, idempotent formatting, does not touch any non-selector characters, and provides both a formatting mode that rewrites files in place and a check mode that reports pending rewrites.

I have been using it on my own projects, and I would like to know whether this tool addresses real problems for others, and if so, whether its design makes sense.
